CANDLE ETIQUETTE

To optimise your Adore Candle experience, we recommend the following:

​

• Upon first ever use, burn for at least 2 hours, or until the surface has turned to liquid wax, this will prevent tunelling

​

• Long or crooked wicks can create high flames or smoking. Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to around 5mm and remove any wick debris

​

• Try to avoid draughts, turn the candle periodically to ensure an even burn pool

​

• Burn for 3-4 hours at a time

​

• Extinguish the candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers or the flame becomes too high. Cool, align and trim the wick

​

• Never burn a candle all the way to the bottom of the glass, leave approximately 1cm wax and extinguish

 

 

 

 

DIFFUSER ETIQUETTE

​

To optimise your Adore Reed Diffuser experience, we recommend the following:

​

• Unscrew the cap from the bottle and remove the large plastic stopper. Replace the cap

​

• Dip the reeds in the diffuser oil and immediately turn them over so the 'dipped' end is at the top

​

• Depending on the strength of scent throw, use all or half of the reeds. We would recommend using 4 reeds for a smaller space and 8 reeds for a larger area

​

• Turn the reeds periodically e.g. weekly, or whenever you would like more scent throw. Use a glove or tissue when doing this so the oil doesn't stain your hands

​

• If you refill the diffuser, it is important to change the reeds too

​
